Gorowame — Learn From Every Conversation

For construction and project teams

Construction meeting minutes, written from the recording

Somebody chairs the progress meeting, and somebody spends the evening typing it up. Then the actions get chased by email, and a week later two people remember the same decision two different ways.

Put your phone on the table and press record. Gorowame turns the meeting into minutes — a summary, the decisions made and the action items agreed — with nothing joining a call and nothing for anyone else in the room to install.

The meetings it is for

The ones that happen around a table rather than on a screen — which is exactly where a meeting bot cannot go.

Progress meetings

The weekly meeting in the site office: programme against plan, what slipped, what is next. The minutes go to the client and every subcontractor.

Coordination meetings

Trades and designers around one table, sorting out who goes where and when. The decisions are the part everyone remembers differently a week later.

Pre-start and handover

Pre-construction meetings, start-ups, commissioning and handover. Long, detailed, and minuted by whoever drew the short straw.

Client and design reviews

In the room or on Teams and Zoom. The Windows app records the call from your own computer, so no bot appears in anybody's participant list.

What you get back

A summary

What the meeting was actually about, drawn from the recording rather than from anyone's memory of it.

The decisions

Kept apart from the tasks. A decision is already true when the meeting ends; an action item still has to happen.

Action items that do not invent an owner

An owner or a due date is filled in only where somebody said one. “Next week” is not a date, and it is left empty rather than guessed.

The transcript, with timestamps

For the day someone says “we never agreed that”. Jump straight to the moment it was said instead of arguing about it.

Ask across every meeting

“When did we agree the pour date?” — asked of the whole project, answered with the meetings and moments it came from.

A link for people without an account

Send the minutes to the client or a subcontractor as a read-only link. Links expire, can be revoked, and never carry the audio.

What the minutes look like

An illustration of the format, written for this page — not a real meeting. Note the empty owners and dates: where nobody said one, Gorowame leaves it blank.

Prefer to write them yourself? The site meeting minutes template has a numbered standing agenda and actions carried forward, and how to write meeting minutes covers what to put in them.

One price for the whole site team

Gorowame is priced per workspace, not per person. Per-seat notetakers charge for each person who needs the minutes, so a five-person site team pays five times. Here, the Growth plan is $25 a month for 40 hours of recording, with everyone on the project in the same workspace. The first 5 recordings are free and need no card. See every plan.

What it does not do

Better to know before your first meeting than during it.

Keep the phone’s screen on. Most phones stop a browser recording when the screen locks, so set it on the table rather than in a pocket. A site walk with the phone put away is not something it records reliably yet.

The browser needs a signal. The Windows app records with no connection and uploads later, which suits a site office with patchy internet. The Android app does the same and is in testing, not yet in the Play Store.

It writes minutes, not inspection reports. There are no photos, checklists or defect forms. If your deliverable is an inspection report, a dedicated inspection tool will serve you better.

Telling the room is your job. Nothing announces itself, and recording laws differ by country. See the terms and the privacy policy.
